Description
1914 or so Mercedes Racer.
This was a 1/16 Lindberg kit I modified a bit for this more modern hot rod look.
The engine and rear tires came from a 1/16 Revell "Beebe & Mulligan rail dragster kit.
The rear rims are modified from a AMT "the Shaker Trike" Kit.
Front wheels are from one of the RM Kustom's kit with disk breaks from IMEX 1/12 HD "Thunder Chopper" kit.
Tail lights are from the Monogram "Trantula " head lights.
Rear end was made to look like a quick changer rear end by adding part of the 1/16th engine blower.
The pipes - roll bar - head lights are home made.
Paint is Tamiya Metallic Blue.
So there you have it , another dust collector done.

Nice work! I always wanted to do this kind of work when I was a youngster, but I never had the patience for it, so I usually just ended up building them stock, out of the box--because I had ruined so many trying to customize them! I really appreciate what you do with these kits! This is very good.
