retiring plaque

I was approach by some fellow co workers who remembered the Super Al Smitherman model I had made.
They wanted to know if I could come up with some thing as a gag gift mostly for this guy who’s retiring soon. I didn’t have much time to do any thing as big as Al’s
This guy “Rocky” was a lot like me , always making jokes or playing jokes on people or just plain bustn balls in a fun way . So this is our way of saying “we got the last laugh on you.”
It almost didn’t happen. I had a hard time trying to find new or even used baby shoes like these. I didn’t want to go to a main shoe store cuz of the price I would have to pay. Second hand stores and even the Salvation army store didn’t have what I was lookn for. The last place I went to was a Ol Mom-n- Pop kinda store. That store in it self is another story. Any way I got em and job done.
Any one who has ever wore steel toed shoes or boots can tell why theses boots look in the way I’ve done them up.
When we present this plaque to Rocky , we’re going to tell him we found his very first pair of work boots.
